Boot Space

Coming to the boot space, you get 343-litres while all rows are up and the third row is not reclined, and this too has been measured up to the roof. In reality, there is just enough space to keep three cabin-sized suitcases.

However, if you need to carry more luggage or need to move houses, you can fold the third row to get a flat floor which will solve your problems.

Now since this is a big SUV, the boot lip is at a height where placing or taking out luggage requires effort and strength. But there is some convenience after you’re done loading/unloading as there is a powered tailgate.

Let’s start with the engine. The Majestor gets a diesel unit only with an automatic and gets both rear-wheel-drive and front-wheel-drive options. This engine is loud, you feel the vibrations on the steering wheel and even on the seats, but it is expected from a diesel unit.

Mercedes-Benz S-Class

The Mercedes-Benz S-Class is one of the most luxurious Mercedes cars you can currently buy in India. Its main party piece is the rear-seat experience, where you get treated to a business aircraft-like experience with top notch comfort and features. The cabin is luxurious and one can customize it with different trims and colours to make it your own. Lastly, for the first time, the S-Class comes to India with a plug-in hybrid powertrain.

    Tata Sierra EV

The Tata Sierra EV concept was first displayed at the 2020 Auto Expo and was last seen in its near-production concept stage at the 2023 Auto Expo. It is based on the Sierra ICE, which is slated for a launch on November 25, 2026

At first glance, the Sierra EV concept appears to be a blend of nostalgia and modern design. Its upright stance, flat bonnet, and boxy proportions pay homage to the original Sierra from the ‘90s, while the smooth surfaces, connected LED lighting, and flush door handles bring it straight into the EV age.

Tata hasn’t officially revealed the technical specs yet, but the Sierra EV will be based on the brand’s new Gen 2 Acti.ev platform, the same architecture that underpins the Curvv EV and the Harrier EV.

    Honda ZR-V

It is set to be launched soon as a fully imported unit and is expected to be priced at Rs 40 lakh (ex-showroom). The biggest talking point about the ZR-V is the fact that it comes with a strong-hybrid powertrain option. But with established European rivals like the Skoda Kodiaq and Volkswagen Tiguan that offer a great blend of comfort, performance and features, what does the Honda ZR-V bring to the table?

Does it do anything differently or is it just another premium SUV with just a different badge and design?

The first thing you’ll notice on the nose is how small the grille is. Some might even be able to draw parallels with when a small fish opens its mouth, because the design does look very alike. The grille gets simple vertical slats that add some substance to it, while the bumper has a curvy sculpted design towards the edges. The only sporty element on the nose is the lip which features some black slats that also add some contrast to the design.

For passenger comfort, it packs dual-zone climate control with rear AC vents, front and rear armrest, 8-way powered driver seat, 4-way powered passenger seat, heated front seats, heated steering wheel and a powered tailgate.

It misses out on ventilated seats, but even still, the feature package is loaded to the gills.
